Proposed Shopping Center in Enka/Candler Area

The word is spreading regarding a proposed shopping center in the Enka/Candler area. I have seen news stories from both the Citizen Times and News 13 WLOS regarding the possibility of the new shopping center. The proposed center would redevelop an old industrial/manufacturing site located near the gated community of Biltmore Lake. The proposal will be going up for a vote with the Asheville City Council since the property is located inside the city limits or in the ETJ. This could mean big changes for the Enka and Candler areas if the plans are approved.
