JCHS Havard University Reports: Substantial increases in the # of FHA 203(k) loans! 16,655 203(k) renovation loans made in 2009, up from 6,562 in 2008 and 3,255 in 2007. These loans are used for renovations to improve/update homes that need essential repairs- wiring, plumbing, roof replacement/repair or structural repairs.
These FHA 203(K) loans are great when considering buying a distressed property or if you just want to make improvements and don't have the cash!
