Vacation Rentals in Buncombe County- Ordinance Change

In January 2011, Buncombe County Planning Commission implemented changes to the zoning ordinances regarding vacation rentals. The changes were to the definition of a vacation rental and to the zoning districts to allow for vacation rentals. Many of the residential districts that did not previously allow for vacation rental now have vacation rental as a permitted use under the new zoning ordinances.
