The Buncombe County housing sales stats are in for three quarters of 2011, this data is compiled by the National Association of Realtors®, the data was compared to the first three quarters of 2010.
• Sale Volume is flat- 1,728 sold this year and 1729 for 2010
• Average 3 Bedroom sells price is down about 5%, from $222,517 to $210,159
• 3 Bedroom list to sell ratio is down from 95% to 94%
• Average days on the market is up from 141 to 162
• 29% of sales this year have been cash purchases
